Possible Applications
Inside the high‑temperature, high‑vibration curing ovens of a tire production line, the passive bidirectional information tag is mounted directly on each curing mold. As the mold rotates into the loading station, the plant’s PLC reads the tag to confirm the correct mold size, the current batch number, and the required curing profile before the tire is placed inside. During the curing cycle, the tag continuously exchanges status signals with the control system, allowing real‑time verification that the mold has reached the programmed temperature and pressure. When the cycle ends, the tag’s response triggers the ejection mechanism, ensuring the finished tire is removed only after a verified cure, which reduces scrap and prevents premature discharge. The same type of tag is also employed on auxiliary rollers and transfer carts, giving operators instant identification of equipment positions without manual checks. By embedding the tag where it experiences the harshest conditions, the system maintains traceability and synchronisation across the entire tire‑building process.
