Possible Applications
When the paint‑shop robot arm reaches the final coating station, the valve snaps open to let a burst of compressed air drive the spray nozzle, delivering the last layer of clearcoat onto the body shell. In that instant the valve’s quick response synchronises the air‑feed with the robot’s motion, preventing over‑spray and guaranteeing a uniform finish. Down‑stream, the same valve type is used in the coolant circuit of the engine‑block machining centre; it diverts coolant away from the cutting tool as soon as the machining cycle ends, protecting the tool and allowing the next block to be loaded without waiting for a full system drain. By controlling fluid or pneumatic flow precisely, the valve enables the line to keep its cadence, reduces idle time between stations, and supports the high‑mix, low‑batch production typical of modern car factories. The same component can also be found in the assembly of brake‑system sub‑assemblies, where it regulates the pressure that actuates pneumatic tightening tools, ensuring each bolt reaches the correct preload before the chassis moves on.
