Possible Applications
During the body‑in‑white assembly stage, the anti‑pull cable clamp is positioned on the vehicle’s electrical harness to keep the wires from being stretched when the chassis is moved between stations. The clamp grips the cable bundle and transfers any pulling force to a reinforced anchor point, preventing insulation damage that could lead to short circuits in lighting, power‑train control or safety systems. Operators fasten the device with a simple hand tool before the car is transferred to the welding line; the clamp remains in place throughout spot‑welding, paint coating and final‑fit operations, allowing the harness to stay aligned with pre‑drilled guides. When the interior trim is installed, the clamp is released without disconnecting the wiring, saving time and reducing the risk of accidental connector pull‑out. In addition to passenger‑car production, the same component is used in light‑truck assembly where larger gauge cables for auxiliary power need the same protection against tensile loads.
