The pressure control valve sits in the main hydraulic circuit, continuously adjusting flow to maintain the preset pressure level as the ram accelerates, contacts the die, and holds the panel during forming. By preventing pressure spikes, it protects the tooling, reduces cycle‑time variability, and guarantees the dimensional accuracy required for downstream welding and paint processes.
