Possible Applications
During the final‑assembly stage, the OHO valve is installed on the pneumatic distribution line that feeds the robot‑guided door‑panel positioning station. By opening and closing the air feed in sync with the controller’s cycle, it provides the precise pressure burst needed to clamp the panel, lift it into place, and release it once bolts are tightened. The valve’s fast response also allows the line to alternate between different vehicle models without stopping the robots, keeping throughput high. In engine‑test cells, the same valve type directs coolant and oil flow to the test engine, enabling rapid start‑up of a diagnostic run and quick flushing between units. Its ability to be remotely actuated means maintenance crews can isolate a single cell for inspection while the rest of the line remains operational. A secondary benefit appears in the paint‑shop pre‑coat area, where the valve controls the exhaust of solvent vapour, keeping the environment within safety limits. When the production schedule advances to the next chassis, the valve automatically vents the pneumatic circuit, allowing the positioning system to reset and prepare for the following operation.
