A business-to-business virtual warehouse

The possibility of designing joint virtual warehouses between several companies, even competitors, which nevertheless manage common materials, products or elements of sale or purchase, in such a way as to save supplies, obtain economies of scale in purchases, simplify administrative management and improve the level of service to customers, obtaining in a relatively short time, less than three years, the return on investment. This possibility has been made real by UNITEC, an Italian company present in Germany, with a center in Gersthofen and in Italy, with a center in Sabaudia.
This company has developed management software, called Virtual Logistic Platform, equipped with particular mathematical algorithms, which can manage joint purchases and sales between several companies, control accounting operations, execute operations relating to generated documents and supply this warehouse.
The management software developed by UNITEC makes it possible to manage and maintain the various warehouse and cash withdrawal operations in a modernized manner, with bubbles controlled and invoices paid, while the client company receives a single invoice each month for all of these operations.
This provides a series of benefits, including the elimination of repeat orders, inventory maintenance according to the real needs of each company, punctuality of delivery, reduction or elimination of controls on individual accounting operations.
Concerning purchases, this system makes it possible to carry out cumulative operations, with the effect of obtaining better purchasing conditions. In addition, in cases of emergency and necessity, material compensation between different customers can be made, making supplies initially intended for another customer available to the person requesting them. This type of operation also makes it possible to reduce supplies significantly, obtaining additional economic benefit.
