Return & Warranty Policy

UNITEC-D GmbH provides a 12-month industrial warranty on all products sold through our e-catalog and direct sales channels. This policy applies to all B2B customers across the European Union and worldwide.

Warranty Coverage — 12 Months

All industrial components, spare parts, and materials supplied by UNITEC-D GmbH are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery. This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Material defects
  • Non-conformity with product specifications
  • Damage during shipping (if reported within 48 hours of receipt)

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by improper installation, use, or maintenance
  • Products modified or repaired by unauthorized third parties
  • Consumable items (filters, gaskets, seals) beyond their expected service life

Return Procedure

  1. Contact us — Email info@unitecd.com or call +49 821 247960 with your order number and a description of the issue
  2. RMA number — We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 1 business day
  3. Ship the product — Return the product in its original packaging with the RMA number clearly marked
  4. Inspection & resolution — We inspect the product within 5 business days and provide replacement, repair, or credit

Shipping Costs

  • Defective products (warranty claim): return shipping paid by UNITEC-D GmbH
  • Non-defective returns: return shipping paid by the customer
  • Shipping damage: claim handled through the carrier; UNITEC-D assists with documentation

Resolution Options

For valid warranty claims, we offer:

  • Replacement — same product shipped within 24-48 hours (subject to availability)
  • Repair — where technically feasible, at no cost to the customer
  • Credit note — full credit applied to customer account for future orders

B2B Terms

This warranty policy is governed by German commercial law (HGB). For disputes, the exclusive jurisdiction is Augsburg, Germany. The warranty is provided in addition to — not in place of — the manufacturer's own warranty, where applicable.
