Possible Applications
High-volume assembly lines in automotive body shops operate at speeds of up to 120 units per hour, with car bodies suspended from overhead conveyors. In this environment, the rear roller set ensures that the rear section of each body remains precisely aligned as it moves through the framing station. The rollers contact the underside of the body shell just ahead of the rear axle line, counteracting lateral drift caused by conveyor vibration and asymmetric welding forces. Their adjustable mounting brackets allow technicians to fine-tune the contact pressure so that the body neither binds nor shifts during the critical geometry-check phase. Once set, the rollers run continuously, enabling the automated welding robots to locate and join the rear quarter panels and floor pan without manual re-positioning. The same roller set is often reused on multiple model lines, provided the rear body geometry remains compatible, reducing changeover time when production shifts between variants.
